Tuesday, January 09, 2007 Today was a real exciting day spent mostly with --- Jia Xin! Firstly, I was awaken by the alarm clock before 0800 when I planned to rest till then. Feeling exhausted, I continued lying down on my bed and hesitated to make a call. Finally, I sat up, picked up the phone at my bedside and dialled Jia Xin's house number. Falling asleep after facing the ceiling for more than 1.5hours, I think I'm amazed at what determination can do. I was in amazement when Jia Xin really did woke up from hearing the phone ring. It was a miracle as no alarm could do the same effect! =O We were late but she arrived after me. She gave me some chocolate sweets to make up for it. We took 26, chatted and laughed loudly at the rear and missed the stop. We went through a short underground tunnel, crossed roads of the expressways, walked on proper path and sticky mud. Finally, we reached the main gate. It was really disheartening to find out that the side gate was closed when we reached at 1000. It was then that we decided to go through main gate... Luck was not on our side when we discovered the security guard. We have to find help and gave alse fake information in order to enter St. Andrew's Junior College just for the Chicken Rice her friend recommended. We sat down along the corridor of the staff room and tried to cool down till help arrives at 1100. Actually, the guard was kind enough to let us go. Finally. We had the chance to step in the canteen of SAJC and enjoy the food. The CHICKEN RICE sauce was slightly salted with spices added in the cooking. Pouring it on the chicken and the rice, once I tasted it I felt like I was in heaven! I had never tasting such a delicious chicken rice. The Chicken Rice stall sells great chicken rice. The chicken cutlet and the fish and chips from the Western Food store were not that tasty. The apple juice from the first stall was not very unique too. However, the strawberry honeydew was nice! It tasted like honeydew juice with slight strawberry taste though the colour was evenly red. I would like to explain. We did NOT crash SAJC. All we wanted was to eat the Chicken Rice! =/ Our second stop was Singapore Polytechnic. The chicken chop from food court 3 was said to be different in a good way. We were actually hesitating as to whether to carry out our original plan or wait till another day. We had no idea when would that day come. It was already 1300 and we were trying very hard to get away from sajc through any side gates. We had made a decision --- fulfill our desire! Getting in to SP was an easy thing. All we needed to do was do change to our home clothes and just walk in. We had the map and I had gotten information on the chicken chop. We found our way and settled at FC3. It was tender and the BBQ sauce went well with the chicken. The Chicken Chop did not disappoint us and we were in delight. We had eaten what we wanted --- SAJC's Chicken Rice and SP's FC3 Chicken Chop. *The End* =) We hurried back to our secondary school --- Temasek! After I obtained my cheque and after Jia Xin collected her graduation night photo CD, I found Mr Toh Wee Kwang standing at a distance not far away. We chatted and laughed. =D He's engaged! He will be getting married in December, the end of 2007 when both he and his wife-to-be would enjoy holidays like the students in Secondary Schools and Junior College. He had bought a house in Bedok. He has not divulged any further information to me YET. Students in mJC, please look out for Ms Chow. =) Florence Jovita Jiemin Adeline were waiting for me in school already. Addy and I went down the range and did a few dry-firing. I chatted with Mr Lim and Coach Winnie for awhile and received the photographs taken for our CCA. I took with JIEKAI okay! =) Coach said I need to attend 9 days (mon wed fri) and have an exam (1 day) in order to qualify to coach in TMS. I have a job now, so I think maybe not so soon. I heard from Han Kuan that the principal is willing to spend the money on air con to be installed in the range but on the condition that all the teams are at least 4th in National. I hope this serves as their motivation as they have trainings 4 times a week! I would love to enjoy the air con when I come back to train. =D The 5 of us reached to Siglap Pizza Hut 5 minutes before 1700 and bought student meals. We chatted for some time before we left. Coincidentally, because I did not leave very early, I met Eeyen on bus 10 but he had left an unfinished informal football game. We met up with mingyue mingyuan and stanley at TM. We had dinner at pasta mania. I had dinner again. Stanley could not finish his food so we had to play 终极密码. We then went to minitoons and bought some sweets. After that, we went on seperate ways. . . *The End* Sometimes I just.. don't know.. |
