Birthday Celebration

Chris and yongxing had been planning to celebrate my birthday with mingyue. In the early afternoon, they delivered a 1000-piece puzzle to my house. It was a sagittarius sign puzzle. I was surprised by it, at the same time, touched.

We proceeded with our plan to meet mingyue and watch Casino Royale at Plaza Singapura. She was dimissed late. Thus, she was late and we arrived at the theatre late. Casino Royale was a James Bond movie. However, little action was seen. It was a great disappointment. Love and romance were somehow lacking in the way they were portrayed.

After the movie, they took us to Marina Bay. We had our dinner at one of the many BBQ Steamboat which was closely located to Superbowl. Chris served us a bowl of live prawns which in the end was given away as nobody wanted to devour them. This was one of the meals which I had the least miraculously.

They had it all well planned. We had some fun at the arcade to 'cool down' from the filling dinner. Then, yongxing collected the Heavenly Chocolate Cake Chris and him had bought from Angie the Choice. Chris actually remembered I longed to try it! Once again, it was a pleasant surprise.

23rd November 2006, Thursday.
Graduation Night; My birthday

Jovita and I or rather, I, agreed to meet her at Bedok Interchange at 1.30pm but I hadn't had my instant noodle meal so she had her lunch with her mother instead. I wanted to wait till my mother to return though it would be too late. We made our way to West Plaza somewhere in Pasir Ris to find jiemin, adeline and florence. Florence looked exactly like a Princess with a tiara on her head and turqoise tube dress; Adeline was so pretty in her black tube dress; Jiemin's hair was really straight. We changed at Florence's place and took some pictures. Florence sprayed the same perfume on everyone too. We all smelled the same, literally, at that instance. Then, the London Cab arrived!!

There was nothing much during the Graduation Night. We had catered 8-course meal which was unappealling; lucky dips that were full of unattractive prices; activities that looked and sounded stupid. That was after the interesting videos from all the various graduating classes of course. They must have spent quite an amount of time on making the videos. The memories... They are precious.

Sadly, Jiaxin and I did not walk around the school field. Our feet were hurting too much. She kept asking me questions to assure herself that I am ME. Haha. We looked up in the sky and saw stars! It was exactly the one which Eeyen's father drew us during his family BBQ last year. I was an uninvited guest. Haha. It was called 'Tian Lang Xing', commonly seen during December and January. Oh yes, Mr Toh gave me a Star as a birthday present! =)

The 6 of us went to Tampines to have a chat at McDonalds. It was the only place which was 24-hour. Jiaxin, Michelle, Vanessa were there too! Jiaxin bought me an Oreo Cheesecake. =) It was 1a.m. and we were all planning to leave. Coincidently, Jiaxin was leaving too so since Jovita's parents are coming to fetch her, Jiaxin and I tagged along.

Four years... It had been a rough sailling four years full of fun and enjoyment too. It was a brisk experiment. All the friends I have made, all of them are unique in their own ways. It was nice knowing all of them. Of course, goodbye was a saddening thing to say. However, tian xia mei you bu san zhi yan xi. Everything will come to an end one day, in a matter of time. Goodbye, my friends. Embark on a new journey. For all you know, we might meet again. Someday....
