Saturday, August 26, 2006

On the 26th of August, 2006, I realised I haven't begin to prepare for my 'O' Levels. It is a very sad thing to know that it is only 2 weeks to the Prelims and I have not started my revision!

Forget about the study part. The day after I last blogged, National Day, I watched the two movies which I had alwayz anticipated to catch. Tokyo Drift - Fast and Furious and Dragon Tiger Gate. Although movie tickets cost $9.50 each on a public holiday, I was glad to be able to use my movie vouchers costing $7.50 each. The movies were spectacular! The duration was only for an hour and a quater but the content were fascinating enough. There were a LOT of fighting scenes and THOSE are the parts I love moST. Thus, the money was well-spent. =D oh by the way, I watched with Steve. Steve Teo, the one who got the LKY award, the one who's photo is at the side of the canteen because he got the LKY award, and the one who I once loved.

It was National Day, a public holiday, but my very good friends who were mostly my ex-classmates (including my addy darling!) were too lazy to go out, as usual. Lazy was not really the factor. In fact, it was the laziness to organise the venue, time factor and activities, even if we were just going to catch a show. So sad right?!! Given my character, I will go out with anyone who ask me out. Provided I was not feeling moody. Based on past experience, I went out alone with Gary, someone I knew from GunBound. I felt that he was trustworthy, so I agreed to watch a movie with him. I could never forget the title --- World without Thieves. The story was touching, very touching indeed.

Morever, I enjoyed myself. It doesnt matter who you go out with just so long as you enjoy yourself. Furthermore, I had TWO corn muffins, freshly baked from Kenny Rogers. Yummy! He then took me to 16th floor of Mandarin Hotel, because someone was occupying the lobby. I just found out that he often goes there as he likes the atmosphere, I think. The scenery from the window was great, especially night scenery. There was the merlion, Clarke Quay, and the NTUC building which he is going to work at after NS. (some MNC in that building)

Feelings rekindled? Nope. It was the flash backs of the past memories that made me smile. Feelings may go, but memories remain... That's the best thing in life.

The next day, which is 10th of August, a school holiday. I argued with Steve that it was a public holiday coz. I alwayz thought it was a public holiday? haha. It seemed that he had to go back to oUr school to work. He's currently working at computer lab 3 till the end of August, and a former Temasekian and Temasek Alumi Vice-President, a student councillor, and... President of IT Club, LKY awardee, Mrs Ong's favourite Temasek student. There could be more but, I think that's about it. So, as I was saying, it was a school holiday and Moon asked me to watch Click with her and mingyuen, stanley. I agreed since I had told her I wanted to watch. All the movies I had wished to watch, I watched. Mission Accomplished. Not forgetting the fact that the twins were late, I have a need to emphasise that I was ALMOST late. Maybe I was, but only by a few minutes. (yuan was playing dotA)

14th August, Monday, 2006.
I had a hair cut! Along with raymond, thien soon and yewfong at ray's aunt's house. The scenery from the house was marvellous, I say. Green grass field and no cars (provided you don't look to the right). It was a rare sight in Singapore. Well, what more can one ask for? The hair cut was $5. What a bargain! In addition, it was well-cut. =)

I have a question to raise. Why can't a male and female be good friends? Ray and I are a wonderful example, aren't we? Even the Readers' Digest book says it was impossible. Because they might eventually fall in love? NO. Seriously, I feel that it's how you see it. However, I think it is right to say that she's prejudiced. Against who? Ray and I, I presume. I mean, what is wrong with being friends with people of opposite sex? It's not only us. She had her close friends who are males, and for all I know, there are a LOT out there. You must not assume that there aren't plenty of them just because you don't see them. I said that because I've seen, aplently. So why don't they get it? Sad...

18th August, Friday, 2006.
I asked Raymond, "Is a status that important?"
He gave me attitude-d replies. I thought twice, and ask again. "Why is status important?"
He said nothing. After some time, I figured it out. I therefore conclude that status is important, because they provide a sense of security in which many females desire, and most importantly, it signifies the importance of one in a person's heart. Perhaps there are thousands or millions more definitions to "Why is status important". However, it is not really a must to know the real definitions, is it? Cherish what you have, this is much more important.

Deep down inside, I am still a little girl with less of my once pure innocence, deperately looking for Hope and Happiness.

May I ask the world
What is Love
That makes everyone
Willing to die for.

26th Augest, Saturday, 2006.
Morning had Mathematics Remedial with Mr Toh, as usual. Sadly, it had to end at 11am again because there is a physics remedial lessons at the AVT or art room 2. I joined the class at AVT and really concentrated and was trying out the questions he was going through. Until I changed place. BECAUSE THE AIR-CON WAS SO COLD! Yet the people around me except Thien Soon wanted it to be colder, as it was switched off. I sat beside Ray, nicely helped him packed his bag and not even a THANK YOU. In total for today, I had pleasure making sarcastic remarks on YewFong, as per normal. Raymond Wu crapped about yf and I before an item and crap. It was really crap. It's not that I'm assuming BUT, that would never, ever happen.

"i swear you should go http://crashtherunway.livejournal.com to read the last sentence of the latest post," said SLYVIA HO.

SHE HAS A CRUSH ON MY MR TOH! the one whom I greatly admire, the first one ever that i had so greatly admire. He is the best teacher on earth, seriously. Maybe he does have his mood swings and frustrations, but it's OKAY. Everyone has it, just different kinds of exploding. I knew she was up to NO GOOD when I saw her ALONE with HIM at the foyer last night during Night Study. bleh. Mr Toh, BE CAREFUL OF HER!

There are reasons why I greatly admire him. It's not only he is friendly towards us, he cares aLOT about us. That's the general reason.

Not to mention, I had a game of ping-pong with ray at the J Gospel. I have made some improvements, I bet. haha.

There was this evening, before night study begin, raymond was childishly playing with water, threatening to pour on me. It made me recalled how he splashed a bucket of cold, tap water on a windy, chilling night, on 5th of May, 2005. It was the best birthday celebration I ever had, although it wasn't mine. Water guns led to water fights. Someone pushed me into the pool. One year later, I still HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA who is THAT CULPRIT. Admit to it already. It's BEEN SO LONG!!!! Anyway, the main thing is that, I miss you Aidan. You brought us fun, joy and laughter. It ss the friendship that I want to keep. Take care, friend.

By the way, Mr ENG KK has a monthly salary of $7000+++! One of the highest pay in TEMASEK. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! After working for 19 years, everything is possible.
